Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Your LLC, LLC ("we," "us"), operating the Sidearm Rescue service, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our automated missed-call text-back service.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, business name, phone number, email, and trade, when you submit our web form to learn about the service.
- Caller phone numbers and message content — when you call a business that uses our service and it isn't answered, we process the calling phone number and any text messages you send in reply, in order to deliver the automated response and forward your message to the business owner.
- Service records — call and message timestamps and delivery status, used to operate the service and produce the business's recovery reports.
How we use information
- To send a single automated text-back reply to a caller whose call to a participating business went unanswered, and to forward the caller's replies to that business.
- To respond to inquiries submitted through our website.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service and to honor opt-out (STOP) requests.
Text messaging & mobile information
Consent to receive an automated text-back is established when a consumer places a call to a participating business. Every automated message includes opt-out instructions; reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information — including phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent data — is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and message content are shared only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages (for example, our telephony provider) and with the specific business you contacted.
Who we share information with
- The business you called — your number and message are forwarded to that business owner so they can respond to you.
- Service providers — telephony, hosting, and payment processors that operate the service on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal — when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Data retention
We retain call and message records only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them.
Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request deletion, email hello@example.com.
